Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of TapMapp (the "Service"), a daily geography game operated by Duval Technology ("we", "us"). By using TapMapp, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

TapMapp is a free daily geography game. Each day presents a set of trivia clues; you answer by pinning locations on a map and earn points based on accuracy. The Service is provided for entertainment and educational purposes.

Accounts

• You can play anonymously without an account. Signing in with Google is optional and unlocks cloud-saved results and friend groups.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to play, manipulate scores, or access the Service;
• Choose display names or group names that are unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

We may remove content (such as display or group names) and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Intellectual property

The TapMapp name, logo, game design, clues, and software are owned by Duval Technology and protected by applicable laws. Map data is provided by MapTiler and © OpenStreetMap contributors, used under their respective licenses. You may share your daily results, but you may not copy, resell, or redistribute the game content without permission.

User content

Content you provide (such as a display name or group name) remains yours, but you grant us a license to store and display it as needed to operate the Service (for example, showing your name on a group leaderboard). You are responsible for the content you provide.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Trivia clues are provided for entertainment; while we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that all content is error-free. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Duval Technology will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
